‘ WE ROBOT ’ narrates a fantasy about how humans become artificial intelligence robots.
The exploration of tech yarns, such as UV color-change, antibacterial & sustainable,
illustrates what future humanoid knitwear will look like.
Fine-gauge fully-fashioned gored dress with asymmetrical hem,
and detachable jacquard panel knit with UV color-changing yarn.
The goal was for knitwear to appear as a lightweight, fluid extension of a humanoid’s body.
The jacquard effect changes as the UV radiation intensity changes,
creating a future-like moving picture effect.
