Outfit 1
A design concept stemming from upcycling. These garments are multifunctional,
where the same pieces can be used to create different garments.
The wearer has the ability to “upcycle” the garments themselves, extending the product’s lifecycle.
Ciudad Blanca (White City), an unexplored ancient city in La Mosquitia rainforest of
Honduras inspired the colors and textures, created using handknitting, hand-felting,
and machine knitting.
Outfit 2
Outfit 3
Asymmetrical silk top with hand-felting used as an underlayer for all three outfits.
Handknit crater cable pant used in Outfit 2.
Handknit crater cable pant pieces, used to create the sweater in outfit 1,
and remaining pieces to create the bandeau top in outfit 2.
Wavy-stripe jacquard pants. The pant is attached by rings, allowing the pieces
to be rearranged. Pants are worn in Outfit 1 and worn as shorts in Outfit 2.
Wavy-stripe jacquard pants are used to create an asymmetrical top
and a separate sleeve-top.
